A sense of security is created in the morning as siblings and children of all ages eat breakfast or play together alongside trusted educators in our Early Learning Room.
A nutritious and delicious Morning Tea prepared by the Centre Cook is served progressively.. Children are supported to make decisions about their morning tea and learn their bodies cues, such as when they are hungry or full.
Planned experiences are offered outside with lots of cross-curriculum learning opportunities that encompass art, music, STEM, language and literacy, physical skill building, social learning and much more on offer.
Children begin to learn and play in age-appropriate indoor learning environments. Individualised and group curriculums are delivered by experienced and qualified educators.
There are also opportunities for children to partake in gardening, woodwork, art, yoga, music, science, cooking or language classes throughout the morning with qualified educators.
A homely and nutritious meal is prepared by the Centre Cook. Children are supported to join small lunch sessions progressively once again supporting them to learn their body’s cues and help create a calm, unrushed and intimate meal time.
Children who sleep are supported to do so by their trusted educators within a sleep encouraging environment at a time that suits their individual needs. While others who do not sleep, are supported to participate in Yoga, mindfulness and continue to engage in the curriculum.
An opportunity for children to engage in discussion, share news, reflect on their day with the group and participate in decision making in matters that affect them.
Another chance for children to learn about their body’s cues and come together in small groups to recharge their batteries as they eat another nutritious meal prepared by our Cook.
Children engage in an array of learning outside with art, construction, sensory play, literacy opportunities, dramatic play and sport classes on offer during the afternoon.
Children are offered a late afternoon snack, as children of all ages and siblings play in our Early Learning Room as the learning continues.
